Expert Forum «Local and Global Challenges in Central Asia» was held
On December 6, the Faculty of World Politics and the Center for Research and Postgraduate Education of the Kazakh-German University, together with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation office, held a Central Asian expert forum entitled «Local and Global Challenges in Central Asia».
This event brought together experts, scholars and practitioners from Central Asian countries to discuss regional and global challenges. The conference included panel discussions where political, economic and social issues and challenges facing the Central Asian region were discussed. A roundtable discussion on «On the political significance of discourse studies: discourses of exclusion, discrimination and hierarchization» and a master class on «Effective mediation tools» were also held.
The Forum provided an excellent opportunity for participants to engage in a fruitful dialogue, exchange ideas and jointly discuss possible solutions to help Central Asia navigate its complex landscape and work towards sustainable development.
